In 1917, a story woven of wonders and not legends began in Fátima, Portugal. Little shepherd Lucia dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto were working as shepherds in their families' flocks in a small town in Fatima called Cova de Iria. On May 13, the three children experienced the revelation of the Virgin Mary, under the invocation of Our Lady of Fatima.
